Bluegrass Fiddle Fest???

Party time!! My super cute and wonderful friend Sue had a great idea to go to the Bluegrass Fiddle Fest at Tahitian Noni Saturday night. We thought we could get down honkey tonk style. We ate a wonderful dinner with Sue and her funny man Jonny B, and then headed to the fiddle fest. We were in for quite a surprise as the Renaissance dressed Muscians Guild played their very not bluegrass music {but they did well for that type of music:)}. My favorite was the finger chimes, I am totally all over that! Anyway, we had lots of fun as always! Kelly was getting a little upset at our irreverence, but he was a great sport! As the night went on the music got better, still not so much a fiddle fest!
Kevin (Jonny's son) and I were having fun entertaining ourselves with huge amounts of bubble gum and our bubble blowing contest, unfortunatly Kevin won big time!

Oh, how I wish that was mud!!!

My boys are killing me!! Naptime has turned into psychotic destruction time! What do I do with them?? There are no longer ANY markers for them to use, so today when I peeked in to check on thier quietness I discovered they had found a new medium! Keagan was sitting on the bed laughing as Kaiden was saying, "should I put it in his ear?" What??? If only you could see my sweet little baby below the waist, oh my!! And let me tell you, the boys room does not smell good!! AHHHHH!

Family Vacation, Disney, Huntington Beach, Sea World, La Jolla, and Las Vegas

Downtown Disney
Alice in Wonderland, seriously disturbing ride!!

Kelly and the boys tore into an enormous turkey leg. Not too bad!

Waiting to ride Finding Nemo, all three of the boys passed out! We waited 45 min. not too bad compared to the 90 min. wait when everyone was not at the parade. Totally worth it! Kaiden was in pure pixar heaven!

Yeah! the disney castle! Way more impressive at night. The fireworks show was incredible!!

My cute little mouse!

Keagan and Kaiden had a blast at Disneyland

Huntington Beach is my FAVORITE beach!! It was beautiful!

Kaiden was my little ocean baby! He was lovin the waves! He would be my little surfer bum if he only had the chance

Ok, seriously everyone needs to go to The Claim Jumper and experience the "I declair" dessert. Oh my fatty goodness!! It is a football size eclair sitting on vanilla icecream, topped with hot fudge, and surrounded by whip cream. Really, what could be better?? (you can see by the chocolate on my sleeve that my kids enjoyed it too)

feeding the dolphins was one of my favorite parts of Sea World, the kids loved holding the slimy little fish too

Kaiden and Keagan wanted to get splashed by the dolphins, Keagan runs away faster than Kaiden, and Camden was not at all happy about the whole situation!!

After Sea World we went to the tide pools at La Jolla. It was so much fun to see another side of the beach. Keagan found this star fish, crabs, and lots of sea anemones (clearly I can't spell). It was so much fun to see the kids exploring in the different pools.

I love this picture!! Notice the approaching water that soaked Kelly's boots and pants up to his knees!

This woman came out of nowhere and asked if we would like to have her take some pictures with our camera. So nice!! Thank you stranger lady!!

We spent Easter morning at Brad and Jana's in Las Vegas. The weather was perfect!! We had so much fun visiting the cousins and we loved seeing Janet and Aaron and thier cute boys! What a wonderful way to end a great vacation!!

Happy happy (super late post) birthday Kelly!!

Happy birthday to my super sweet and wonderful man!! We love you!!

baby carrier cover for Roman

My cute friend Amber just had the sweetest
baby boy named Roman. Hopefully
this works ok. Plus, Amber can pull the strips
out and use it as a quilt. Anyway, this is my
attempt at helping roman stay warm :)

Hospital drama

Last night Keagan decided he wanted smores for a late dessert, so being the smart mom that I sometimes think I am, we roasted marshmallows over the back burner on the stove. We were having a great time, until Camden used his go-go-gadget arms to grab the burner with his fingers. I felt pretty smart then! We tried to run them under cold water but he wasn't havin it. I quickly put Keagan and Kaid in bed and tried to calm Cam down with "Otis" (watching barnyard) and a bag of ice. He just kept crying and shaking, it was the saddest thing! So I called my mom to ask for suggestions. She called her nurse friend and said we should go to the hospital. So, at 9:30 Cam and I finally made it. He fell asleep in the car and after being poked, prodded, etc, he never woke up! Blessings from Heaven!! The Dr. said he had second degree burns on his fingers and they had to remove the burnt area on his index finger to prevent infection. Sad!! He was a little angel! He woke up once in the parking lot and for a minute when we came in the house and then slept all night (thank you baby loratab!) Today he has said ouch twice, but other than that he acts as if everything is great! Moral of the story, don't roast marshmallows over the range at home!!

Naptime drama, Day #2

Ok, so yesterday I get called to the bedroom door by Keagan. He said, "Mom, there has been a terrible disaster! It's Camden, he peed on the floor!" So I opened the door to find that the pee is not the disaster, it is in fact his poor decorated body! All I could do was laugh and run for my camera. Seriously, could they be more creative during their nap time?? How could I possibly get mad at this cute little face, or the masterminds behind the artwork!

I had to add to the post-"nap" nap.

Naptime fun??

So, I put all three boys down
for thier "nap" today. I swear
the room was clean when they
went in, and they swear they
took good naps. Hmm?
Seriously, does this happen to
anybody else, or is it just my
creative kids? Any suggestions?
Camden passed out on the couch
post-nap. Too cute!

Keagan's very merry half birthday! 5 1/2 major milestone :)

Keagan has literally been
counting down the days
until he could be 5 1/2.
Remember, these things
were at one point very
important! He was very
specific on his cake. It
must be a volcano, so, he
got to decorate it himself.
complete with grass in the middle, starburst fence, and a super hero with a cape (blow pop). We had lots of fun celebrating this momentus occation!
