Memorial Day, Bees game, a day out with the Grammys,and a birthday party

We went to the cemetary on Sunday to place some flowers on my cousins Eric Larsen and Dallas Orton's grave on Sunday. It was a beautiful day and it was neat to go as a family and remember these sweet boys. What would this life be without the gospel and the knowledge that families are forever!!!

The cemetary had some beautiful memorials for fallen soldiers. It is such a blessing to live in a country where men and women are willing to put thier lives in danger to preserve our freedoms. We are so blessed!

Wednesday we had a fun night with the Buckners at the Bees game. Super big thanks to Steph and Brandon for inviting us! Brandon had the Huntsman Suite for the night, which is the only way to take kids to a game! It was so much fun and I loved that Cam couldn't go anywhere!!

You can't go to a baseball game without eating hot dogs! Luckily it was even $1 hot dog night! Score!

Thursday we went to play with Grammy D, Great Grammy, and the cousins. First we stopped at the zoo, but seeing that it was a freezing cold down pour, we left and headed to the planitarium (spelling?). It was so fun to spend the day with so much family! Just look at these cute little martians!

Poor Great Grammy has had a bad time lately with her leg, so she got to ride the wheelchair all day. Camden was so excited about this and hopped a ride every chance he could get.

We watched the Deep Blue 3D movie, it was so funny to watch Ethan and Keagan reaching for all the Jelly Fish and other creatures that they thought were floating toward them, plus we got to wear these oh so sweet shades. Very cool!

Lori threw a fabulous birthday party for Ethan on Friday. It was a jungle theme and the kids had a blast!! They made animal hats and then got thier faces painted as thier favorite animal. In case you couldn't tell, Keagan chose to be the white crocodile. This picture cracks me up, I'm not sure I've ever seen the white crocodile make that expression??

Kaiden chose to be a tiger, surprise!

Camden was my favorite. As all the other children were requesting jungle animals, Camden walked up to Lori as she was painting faces and said, "Aunties, I be a walrus." What?? I'm not sure he even knows what a walrus is, and Lori was not so sure how to paint one, but she was a great sport and she did a great job with a very unusual request.

After the face painting the kids all got buckets and pretended to be elephants and went on a circus peanut hunt. They loved it! Happy 5th birthday Ethan!!

Thomas the train

Ok, so I am a bit behind. Last Thursday we got to ride Thomas the train thanks to my awesome friend Becca for hooking us up with tickets. We had a blast and the rain even stopped while we played.

Keagan was so funny as we were riding he said, "Mom, this isn't really Thomas the train, this is an old junk train." So, the Heber creeper isn't super nice, but it was still a blast. I had to explain that Thomas is the engine that pulls old junk trains.

Kaid was a little hesitant about Sir Topham hat at first, shocker, but they all did pretty well. Cam threw him a few dirty looks.

There were lots of activities to do, one tent had a ton of trains for the kids to play with, they loved it.

My favorite part was getting tattoos (i know i can't spell) The kids were way excited and still have some traces of them left. nice.

Cam was cracking me up, he just sat totally still while he got his tat. The guy was totally squishing his face and he didn't budge. you can see by his one cheek smile that he was lovin it!

balloons are always a huge hit with my kids and I love that they came with the tickets! Yea! Cam and Kaid both got monkeys with bananas and Keags got an elephant. (just in case you can't tell :) )

It was fun to hang out with Lori and her cutie kids (as always), and her friend Erin. Major thanks to Becca for hooking us up!

Ohhh Baby!!!

Yes!! HE IS AVAILABLE! Well, maybe. Adam thought he could have a baby as big as mine, so we went all sexy style just like when Angie and I when we were expecting Camden and Avery. So hot!! P.S. he is accepting all friendship requests!

Potty time, pool time, Kaid's graduation, and a final field trip

My man enjoying nature and a newspaper!! We had way too much fun replacing our old potty (and when I say old, I mean two years old). Camden recently developed a love for the movie Flushed Away. He unfortunately started throwing everything he could find into the potty and saying, "flushed away!!" Thank you Dream Works!! Anyway, one of his toys that went swimming actually got flushed and we have not had a flushing toilet for a week and a half. That is so much fun with one bathroom and a family of 5. I am pretty dang good with the plunger now--YUCK!!

So attractive!! This actually scares me for Kelly. What really happens behind closed doors???? I love that we can still have so much fun together even when all we have to play with is a broken toilet! I love ya babe!

Finally a day that felt like summer!! Huge thanks to Lisa and Brent for having us over to swim. We had a blast and even Cam thought the water felt "nice". P.S. cute buns Lisa!!

Kaiden had his first preschool graduation Tuesday. I was the lucky mom in charge of the blessed event. We had fun at the park and celebrated the four year olds major achievement. The kids were so cute! We ate sandwiches on a stick, watermelon, and grad cap cookies. (Thank you Family Fun!) I can't believe my little Kaiden finished a whole year of preschool. He loved it, much to my surprise. He has been a bit of a momma's boy in the past, but after the first few weeks he did great! I really appreciate all the moms in the group that were so great!

Keagan's last field trip as a preschooler. Because of bad weather last monday they had to reschedule for this monday. It was a beautiful day and the kids always love the farm.

We took a wild wagon ride through the parking lot, Ye Ha!! The tractor driver was awesome, he was pulling out all the moves for the kids! We did figure 8s, zig zags and even got to go through every sprinkler he could find. The kids were all over that! (except cam)

Keagan graduates from preschool!!

So, it's the night before preschool graduation and already we are up until 12:30 am making stuff for school (as if this is the first time). There is no hope for the future! The late nights have already begun and we are talking PRESCHOOL!! (Ok, so I am a bit of a procrastinator :)) I had this great idea to wait until the night before to make gifts for Keagan's teacher and the MANY student teachers. I baked cookies while my oh so patient and helpful husband made flower pens for Mrs. Mangum. That's right, kelly made the whole stinkin boquet. He assured me that he was well qualified because he used to have to tape his hockey stick. Actually, his willingness is all he needed to be qualified. Many props to my man for being such a good guy!! Oh what a glorious sight, all the cookies frosted, wrapped, and finished!! I hope the student teacher's liked them. Keagan was so cute giving them away.

Part of the program was the kids singing "We all live in a yellow Submarine," it was so cute! I was happy Keagan got to sit by his cute friend Kennadee. They did a really good job!

Before the diplomas were awarded, the teachers had a surprise for the kids. Some of the high school boys came up on stage and played the garbage cans for them. It was actually really cool!

My little graduate!! I know is going to feel like a week and we will be back for High School graduation. Time has already flown by faster than I ever could have imagined!

Grandma Sandra is always so great to come support the kids! It was great to have her and cousin Natalie there!

Grandpa also came with a gift from him and Grammy D. They are so great! It was so fun to have people to support Keagan!

Yeah! After three years of preschool, he is finally ready for the big K!

Two of the student teachers made these cute year books personalized for each child. I was so impressed! They are like mini scrapbooks for each student.
