Casen's first photo shoot, 4 days old

My super patient and talented sister Lori once again took pictures for me. What would I do without her!! I love them all and had a hard time chosing which pictures to post, so you'll have to deal with the long post of my little baby!!

Happy Birthday Keagan

Keagan turned 6 yesterday!! I can't believe how fast 6 years can go by!! We had a little birthday party at Grammy's house with some of the cousins. Keagan is such a great helper to our family and we love him so much!!!
Kelly and Jacob took all the kids to the park for little birthday fun while Lori did a photo shoot of Casen. {This will most certainly be my next post :) }

Keagan has been waiting to be old enough to have a bionicle for a couple years now, oh the excitement of being 6!!

Happy birthday Casen

Yea! We were so excited to meet our newest little man on Thursday. He was born at 2:56pm and weighed 6 lbs 11 oz. and was 19.5 in. He is such a little skinny guy, but we love him tonz! The boys are all so excited to have their baby brother here and can't get enough of holding him and kissing him and smelling his head... go figure? Huge thanks to everyone that was SO helpful to us this weekend!! Especially the grandmas, Lisa, Adam, Sue, and Nicole who all babysat my kids Thursday! What would I have done without you!!!

Camden was asleep when my mom brought the kids to the hospital, so he didn't get to meet Casen until Saturday. My most awesome friends Heather and Jeff brought cute little Hayleigh and some most delicious Cheesecake to the hospital Friday. We love you!! Thanks a million!!

Keagan and Kaid were so excited to finally get their brother when we went to Grammy D's house for the weekend. Thanks so much to my awesome mom who saved my sanity this weekend and totally took over my kids for us!!

Casen's welcome sign at Grammy's house. Uncle adam, Ty and Auntie Mandolyn, Great Grammy, Aunt Ila, and grandma and Grandpa all signed it and wrote little notes for Casen.

quilts for baby, first day of school, & fun at the museum

Ok, I finally finished making stuff for the baby. I probably should have started a little bit earlier, but really, who has much time to sew?? Anyway, this is Casen's baby carrier cover. Of course, as soon as I started this one I found different fabric that I love. I will have to make another one soon. (this is my attempt at copying the "pop star" bedding that babies R us sells)

This is Casen's baby quilt-- not my favorite and a little girly, but finished. I really had a hard time finding fabric to use for this. Not only is it not my favorite, but I accidently sewed right through my finger with the sewing machine while quilting it! FUN!! Luckily my husband yanked the big old needle for me. Yikes!

I do love the super soft back of the quilt!

Oh my goodness!!! When did my Keagan get old enough to go to school??? I think I was more excited about the big day than he was. This is Keagan just before we left with his first homework assignment. What a big kid!
Keagan and his new teacher answering the question of the day.

Notice all the kids in the background staring like deer in headlights, it was hilarious!!

After school we went to McDonalds to celebrate! Keagan has been asking for star wars toys at McDonalds for weeks. Apparently, he has decided that anything starwars makes you cool- oh goodness!!
Yesterday Grammy D came over and we headed to the Dino museum. So busy and crazy, but we had a blast!

My handsome little toothless Joe.

We can't just sit on the triceratops, we have to eat him???
Big thanks to Grammy D for coming all the way to play with us. We needed a fun day out before life revolves around little maniac #4! We can't wait!!

Final days of summer :(

Last week we decided to kick off the last week of summer with a family swim. It was a beautiful day and we had a blast! (well, maybe until Camden's TWO layers of swimmy diapers leaked a beautiful brown streak down the baby slide and cleared the big pool--oops!!)

The boys love having Kelly throw them across the pool, poor Kaid was showing a little more than expected as he got thrown!
My little fish- really he thinks he can swim. I love it and it scares me to death at the same time!

Keagan and Kaiden love that they can go down the big waterslide by themselves. I love it too!!

Tuesday we went to the farm (along with the rest of Utah County), the cows were extra friendly and the kids had a blast feeding them.

Camden was super excited about all the baby bunnies, so cute!

Another friendly cow kept licking Camden's knee- he wasn't so much loving that.

We are super excited for this week- Keagan's first day of school and a new baby, but it's so sad to say goodbye to summer!!
