The stars at night are big and bright...

How I love Texas!! My wonderful sister Angie called me and asked if we would like to drive to Texas while her husband was out of town, Sure! Why not!! So a couple days later my mom and the kids and I too off for a wonderful adventure!! The drive, not so much, but we all survived!!
We got there late Sunday night, so the party began Monday morning with Gatti land!! Wa hoo, so much fun!! Pizza, pizza, salads and more pizza and lots of fun games to play.
How could the boys resist jurassic park combined with guns, oh the joys!!

Tuesday we headed to Lake Line Mall for Inflatable world. Super duper fun!!

The kids suckered Grammie-D into push pops, she is the best!

After all that jumping we had to head to Kirby Lane, oh my favorite place ever!!!

Wednesday we went to the Children's Museum. Here are Kaiden and Cam pretending to be the Austin Bats.
Making Shrinky Dink necklaces.
My little milking expert.
Avery and Cam working the register in the store.
Kaiden hard at work.
Thursday we went to the Natural Science park where the kids went super scientist crazy with all kinds of things to "Study." They even got super special fanny packs to carry with microscopes, magnifying glasses, paint brushes, etc. Keagan was in HEAVEN!

Even scientists have to take a little break to let it flow! (That is ok to pee on the trail, right?)
Digging for dino bones and finding more things to "Study"

Next we were off to Zilker Park to ride the Zilker Zepher, here is Keagan with his little crew of new friends. They were so excited they could sit together so they could talk about Star Wars.

Ok, if you can't go to Kirby Lane, then you MUST go to Chuys-- Oh Tex Mex heaven!!

Friday we headed to Kiddy Acres. Perfect size amusement park for the little ones.

Gotta Love the freak out!
Keagan and Kaiden had to each take a turn riding "Tyler" the horse.

The Ladies of the park. It was perfect, Angie's friend Laura and her cute kids joined us and we had the whole place to ourselves!
Riding the Ferris Wheel. Grammie was very comforting when she told the kids, don't worry, you are all in cages. Um, thanks Grandma! I don't think you can see the pure pleasure on camden's face, it was wonderful!
We had to make a stop at our old house, oh the good old days!
The Arbor is a must!
The cows

The chubby
Keagan doing more "Studying in the Jungle" Notice, It is January and there is GREEN. This is the way it should be!! Green and flip flops!!

My mom is behind the cow for any of you suspicious of my baby sitting alone.
Super HUGE thanks to Angie and Family for giving us such a wonderful wonderful time in Texas!! We love you tonz and had an amazing time!!!!!!!

Getting older and having fun!!

My mother in law has a little tile in her house that says, "Inside every old person is a young person wondering what the hell happened" How is it possible that I am 30?? Ok, it's really not that bad. Kelly was so cute and decided that he wanted to throw me a skating party for my birthday. My mom and sister Lori jumped in and helped make it cute and super fun!! Thank you to everyone who came (and those who couldn't) for making the big day so much fun and a lot less painful! :) I am so grateful for my wonderful friends and family and that we have so much fun together!! Thank you!!!
Oh the cuteness, my mom and Lori put together this banner of embarassing pictures of my throughout my life- Yikes! It was really funny though. They also did the cute water bottles for everyone and even lifesaver favors that said, "Mary has always "savored" every day of her "life"." Leave it up to them to make Classic Skating cute. Lori also had a cute little scrapbook there and some people brought 6x6 pages about me. It was so nice and such a good idea.

Kelly took me out to the Utah Gymnastics meet later that week. My dad took me to one of these meets when I was a little girl, I have been a huge gymnastics fan ever since. We had a blast, and even though it was the wrong team (red), they did awesome!

After the meet we headed over to Spoon Me, oh my favorite place. So yummy!!
We had a little gift opening on my actual birthday, thanks mom and dad for the cute clothes!

Sunday we had a double celebration for me and Adam. We really are twins just born 7 years and two days apart. I love you bud!! Happy Birthday to us! Really I have never felt so celebrated and had so much birthday fun in one week. Thank you everyone for everything!!

January

My little Camden was in his own Elmer Fudd Heaven!! Grammy Sandra got these super cute dress ups at her shop. The Kids were lovin it!!

I was comissioned (if that's the right word) by Sue to make a baby shower gift for her daughter in law (and my friend) Ashley who is having a baby boy in April. This is what I came up with . The bottom fabric says "rock'n roll" and the back is black minki-- oh so soft :)
I walked in to check on Camden's bath and this is what I found. If only you could see the inches of standing water covering the entire bathroom floor. OH happy day, I love it when Kaiden decides to bound into the tub with all his clothes on and together they decide to to empty an entire bottle of body wash! Oh how I love my children and their ideas!!

And then I am reminded that I really do love my sweet children!
especially in this state of unconciousness :)
Grammy Dee was so sweet to take Keagan to "Goodies and Grandmas" where Keagan had a blast hearing stories and eating muffins and Grammy won a gift certificate to a local restaurante. The next week he got to go to "Goodies and Grandpas" with Grandpa. Lucky kid to be so loved!
It is so hard in the winter time to be stuck in the house, so we decided to spend some time at the park...
not exactly my idea of fun in the sun! (but the kids loved it)
Even though I hate it, it is really pretty.
In case you didn't notice, this post is going backwards, oh well. We all headed to the planetarium (sp?) to watch a little 3D Dinosaur movie and explore with the kids. We are way to sexy for these glasses!!
Kaitie and Cam chillin with their shades

The Haynes crew
My wonderful friend Tara came to party with us for New Year's Eve. She is the best and she even brought her homeade cheese ball. All I can say is wow, Martha Stewart (delicious!), Tara you rock!
We headed over to the hot pots to warm up a little, only it was crazy hot! Cam and Avery weren't down with the big pot of boiling water. Jaeden did so great with me, Dan, and Tara. If anyone feels so inclined, come over any time!! I am always good to go to the hot pots!
Kelly and our little man
A few weeks ago I was upstairs and Kaiden came running up and announced, "Mom, I just kicked Keagan's tooth out!" Keagan came up a couple minutes later laughing and confirmed what Kaided told me. I told Kaid since he kicked it out, he would have to help him find it. Together they went on a treasure hunt and found the tooth. Keagan was so happy that he felt it bump his arm as it fell out, so he was sure it didn't get shoved back into his gums like the other one. Great! :) This tooth was definitly not ready to come out, but Keagan didn't seem to mind! Gotta love rough boys!
